White House: America backs Israel's right to self-defense and does not impose boundaries on it.

White House National Security spokesman John Kirby said on Friday that the United States is not trying to impose any restrictions on Israel in its military operations and its continuing bombing of the Gaza Strip.

Kirby added in press statements that America “does not set red lines for Israel,” and that he will not comment on the expanded Israeli ground operation, and reiterated that Washington supports “Israel’s right to defend itself” despite its clear targeting of civilians.

The statements of the White House spokesman for National Security come as the Israeli massacres continue against civilians in Gaza, in which the number of martyrs rose to 7,326 martyrs, including 2,913 children, 1,709 women and girls, and about 18,500 injured, in addition to 1,650 missing people, according to data from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, which... It published a list of the names of all martyrs in response to Washington’s skepticism about the number of victims of the Israeli aggression.

Kirby said that US President Joe Biden received a routine briefing from senior diplomatic, military, and intelligence officials regarding “the latest developments in Israel and Gaza,” but he did not comment on the content of the briefing or the recent Israeli moves and whether they were a prelude to a ground invasion of Gaza, saying only, “We have certainly seen "Israel has been carrying out various operations on the ground in the past two days."

"From the beginning, we have had and will continue to have conversations with them about how they would do this, and we have not hesitated to express our concerns about civilian casualties and collateral damage and the approach they might choose," Kirby added. "That's what friends can do, and we are friends."
