From Lebanon to Yemen: Massive Protests in Support of Gaza Following Operation 'Aqsa Deluge

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in Yemen, Lebanon, and Kuwait in massive rallies expressing support for Gaza in the wake of the "Aqsa Deluge" operation. The protesters chanted slogans in solidarity with the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Hamas, waving Palestinian flags.

Europe, from Paris to Kyiv, condemned the "Aqsa Deluge" operation carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, on Saturday morning, in an unprecedented surprise attack on Israel. The operation included the firing of thousands of rockets, infiltrations, and incursions into settlements. Israeli sources reported approximately 350 casualties and 1,864 injuries.

While several Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Egypt, called for an immediate de-escalation, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Saturday placing the sole responsibility for the ongoing escalation on Israel due to its continuous violations of the rights of the Palestinian people.

Kuwait called on the international community to "end provocative occupation practices" and "settlement expansion policies."

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces announced the commencement of a complete evacuation of Gaza Strip residents in parallel with their ongoing airstrikes on the region.
