Gaza Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health provides proof that Israel was the reason behind the hospital's targeting.

During a press conference, Yousef Abu Al-Rish, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, disclosed that on October 14, precisely at eight o'clock in the evening, the Israeli occupation force fired two shells towards Al-Baptadi Hospital.

He claimed that the following day, the so-called "Israeli Defense Army" called Dr. Maher Ayyad, the head of the hospital, and told him, "You were warned by two shells yesterday." Why did you wait until now to leave the hospital?"

The Gaza Strip is the only area in the world, according to Abu Al-Rish, where residents are alerted to the possibility of missile attacks and bomb threats.

The confirmation of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Gaza that the occupation had previously targeted Baptist Hospital comes at a time when the Israeli occupation army disavows the crime of bombing the same hospital yesterday, Tuesday, which left more than 500 martyrs and hundreds injured.

The Islamic Jihad movement denied the "lies" and "false accusations" directed against it by Israel, stressing that the hospital was targeted by "an air strike launched from an Israeli warplane."
