Russia: Repelling two Ukrainian attacks on the Crimean Bridge and Belgorod
Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Saturday, that its forces thwarted a Ukrainian attempt to attack with two drones over Belgorod Province, and confronted another Ukrainian attack with two drone boats that targeted the Crimean Bridge.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also said that Kyiv successfully tested locally made missiles that currently have a range of 700 kilometers, and the range of one of them may reach a thousand kilometers, indicating that the military leadership is seeking to increase the range of its offensive weapons. Meanwhile, the head of the Ukrainian National Security Council announced that his country can strike Russian sites within a range of up to 1,500 kilometers.

Traffic on the Crimean Bridge has returned after being temporarily halted due to the Ukrainian attack.
The bridge - whose construction was completed in 2018, four years after Russia took control and annexed the peninsula from Ukraine - has been repeatedly attacked since the start of the Russian war on Ukraine 18 months ago.
Ukraine claimed responsibility for an attack last July on the bridge carried out by what was described as a naval drone, which claimed the lives of two people.
The 19-kilometer-long bridge across the Kerch Strait was also severely damaged in October 2022 in an explosion that Russian officials said was caused by a truck that exploded while crossing the bridge.
On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that its forces carried out 5 precise strikes that disabled the Ukrainian army's strategic electronic control system.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian General Staff said that its forces repelled Russian attacks concentrated on the Kubyansk front in the east, where Russian troops have been trying to advance towards it for weeks.
She added that the Ukrainian army continues its attacks using helicopters and aircraft toward the city of Melitopol from several axes on the southern front in Zaporizhzhia.
The authority indicated that Russian forces bombed Ukrainian positions and forces to prevent any advance towards the depth of their defenses.
On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage that it said was of an artillery attack on Ukrainian forces in the city of Oglidar, Donetsk Province.

Ukrainian intelligence also broadcast pictures that it said were of an operation carried out by special Ukrainian units targeting Russian air defense missile platforms in the Lugansk region.
Ukrainian intelligence reported that the Omega Special Unit destroyed 3 vehicles of a Russian air defense unit using drones near Svatov at the end of last month.
