In the same context, a representative of the Kornet anti-tank missile system development team announced that a Russian special forces unit in the south used the remote control complex, known as "Kurgan", for the first time to destroy a bunker of Ukrainian forces.
He explained that the Kornet anti-tank missiles are now able to carry out a new mission, which is to counter air targets.
Kornet anti-tank and armor system is considered one of the most advanced weapons of its kind and has already been used on a large scale and in more than one country.
The range of these missiles ranges from 150 meters to 10 kilometers, and they are remotely controlled and laser-guided, and they are characterized by their high accuracy.
On the other hand, Russian Telegram channels broadcast a recording of the voice of Major General Ivan Popov, commander of the Russian army unit in Zaporizhia, announcing his dismissal from his post for telling the truth, as he put it.
Popov confirmed that he was dismissed from his post one day after he clarified in his report all the problematic issues that exist in the army in terms of combat work and support.
"The Ukrainian army could not break through our ranks on the front, but our senior commander dealt us a sudden blow and brutally beheaded the army at the most difficult and critical moment," Popov said.
Popov, who took command of the Russian units in southern Ukraine, clearly raised the issue of killing Russian soldiers in Ukrainian artillery shelling and said that the army lacked appropriate counter-battery systems and means of enemy artillery reconnaissance.
