Russian attacks on Mykolaiv, Odessa, and Crimea are under Ukrainian bombardment again

Today, Thursday, a Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv resulted in at least 18 injuries, and new Russian strikes were also made against the city of Odesa.

A day after a fire broke out within a military station in this area, Russia declared the waters in the southeast and southwest of the Black Sea to be under its control, even though a person was killed and four structures were damaged in a Ukrainian attack with a march in Crimea.

The Black Sea will deal with ships traveling to Ukraine as potential military targets since it is risky for navigation.

Two victims were pulled from the wreckage of a three-story apartment building in downtown Mykolaiv by emergency personnel, the governor of the Mykolaiv region, Vitaly Kim, posted on the Telegram messaging app.

According to Serhiy Prachuk, a spokesman for the Odessa administration, two persons were brought to the hospital after an attack in the city damaged a structure and started a fire. He also mentioned that there had been reports of another incident outside the city.

Russian forces launched 13 attack drones and five cruise missiles on the Mykolaiv and Odesa areas yesterday night, according to an announcement made by the Ukrainian Air Force today, Thursday. Moscow utilized Caliber, Iskander, and Onyx missiles in the strike.

He stated that Russia launched 19 cruise missiles and 19 drones, but he omitted to specify the precise locations of the other missiles.

Ukrainian forces' positions close to Odesa will be targeted by a massive air and sea attack from Russia, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

He said, "During the night, Russian military forces conducted several long-range precision-guided air strikes against military-industrial facilities, fuel infrastructure, and ammunition depots of the Ukrainian armed forces near the city of Odesa." stated the army in a statement.

According to the Ukrainian presidency, the Russian attack on Wednesday specifically targeted grain depots to prevent the export of Ukrainian grain, although Reuters quoted the Ukrainian Minister of Agriculture as saying that 60,000 tons of grain were lost in the attack.

Commenting on the attack on Odesa, Ukraine claimed that the attack, which came three days after the expiration of the grain export pact across the Black Sea - signed between Russia and Ukraine with the assistance of the Turkish UN - proves once more that Moscow is purposefully igniting a "global hunger crisis". and make an effort to undermine the allies.

Also stating that both Kyiv's allies and adversaries have solutions to the situation, Andrei Yermak, director of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's office, thought it important to increase sanctions against those who aid Moscow in getting around it.

On the other side, the Crimean governor reported that a Ukrainian attack at a rally resulted in one death and four buildings being damaged.

The fire that started within an aviation base in the Kirovsky area, east of the peninsula, is being investigated, according to the authorities.

Kremlin charged that the West was complicit in what it referred to as terrorist acts in Ukraine.

A girl was reportedly murdered in a Thursday night drone attack in Crimea, according to a local governor chosen by Moscow.

Drone strikes from the air and the sea have been continuously directed toward the Crimea region since the attack on Ukraine began in February 2022.
