An official with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies also said that about 10,000 people are missing after torrential rains and floods.

A video clip broadcast by a local platform in the city of Derna showed a large number of bodies spread out in the Shiha area of the city, waiting for their identities to be identified.

Residents and activists also broadcast appeals from inside the city cemetery to send digging machines to be able to bury the bodies.
